* 08/02/2018 - 08/14/2018 Street Resurfacing Update
The City of Canby has contracted with Eagle-Elsner, Inc. to complete the 2018 Street Resurfacing program.  This work consists of ADA Ramp replacement, pavement grinding, paving full street widths and pavement markings/striping. The paving schedule has been updated for the 2018 Street Resurfacing program.  Eagle-Elsner has requested to extend street closures/impacts to complete the grind and paving work due to equipment delays.  The closures have been extended through August 14th from 7 AM to 5 PM, typically.  An updated day-to-day street schedule has been included outlining the street list, work limits and dates.   No Parking signs will be posted, any vehicles left within the construction zone will be subject to towing.See Schedule Below

* 08/20/18 - 08/21/18 - 2018 Slurry Seal Preservation
The City has contracted with Intermountain Slurry Seal, Inc. for pavement preservation of the following streets identified in the map and schedule provided.  The Slurry Seal is scheduled to begin August 20th through August 21st.  If your street is not completed within the date indicated above, you will be re-notified with the next available date & time to complete your roadway.  Prior to these dates, you will see crews making pavement repairs, removing pavement markings and prepping the surface for the treatment.  Pavement markings will follow shortly after.

Slurry Seal is a combination of emulsified asphalt and aggregate that is mixed together and placed over the existing asphalt surface. The product is designed to protect and preserve the existing asphalt surface and prolong its integrity. The product, once applied to your roadways surface, can take 4-6 hours to properly cure and receive traffic of any kind. This product requires that your street either be closed or restricted to traffic during its application. Streets that are to receive this treatment will also have “No Parking” signs placed along the street at least 48 HOURS prior to the work being started. These signs will have specific dates and times that all parking on the street will be restricted. Please look for these on your roadway as referenced in the map.

Dry pavement is critical. Please do not water lawns or wash vehicles at least 2 days prior to project application start date.

Expect some delays and choose alternate routes to drive and park your car. We greatly appreciate your understanding and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
