Reasonable Modification Policy

Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a reasonable modification is a change or exception to a policy, practice, or procedure that enables individuals with disabilities to have equal access to services, programs, and activities.

Canby Area Transit (CAT) will make reasonable modifications to its policies, practices, or procedures when necessary to provide equal access for individuals with disabilities.

Whenever possible, requests for reasonable modifications should be made in advance of when the service is needed. This allows CAT to evaluate and, when appropriate, implement the modification in a timely manner.
