About

The Friends of the Canby Public Library is a volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, providing annual budgeted funds for educational and social programming for the Canby Public Library. Revenues are generated through the Book Garden Store, Donations, Fundraising Events, and Friendships.

Become a Friend, Volunteer or Donate. We believe that a good library is essential to the well-being and livability of the community.

Ways to be involved:

· Join the Friends. Complete the Friendship form and/or volunteer. Forms can be found here under supporting documents. You may use the Friendship option to join or renew.

· Shop at the Book Garden store, located inside the library during library hours.

· Donate to the Book Garden Store accepts books in gently used condition. DVDs, Blu-ray and CDs and magazines cannot be more than 3 months old. We do not accept encyclopedias, dictionaries, computers manuals, VHS tapes and readers digest books. *Tax deductible as allowed by law.

· Donate to the Friends of the Canby Public Library. We accept unrestricted monetary donations in any amount. Contact us to make arrangements or use our PayPal account. *Tax deductible as allowed by law.

Volunteer

We are always looking for volunteers to help with the Garden Book Store and at recurring sales. To volunteer, you may complete the Membership and Volunteer form online or download and print the form. If you choose to download and print the form, please mail the completed form in. Both the online and print form can be found at the bottom of this page.
