The nation’s largest dahlia grower; beautiful fields and fresh-cut flowers. Stroll through over 35 acres of beautiful dahlias at our farm in Canby, Oregon. The fields open August 1st each season and remain open through September (into October weather permitting). Fields are open daily during this time 8am – 6pm. If you are not up for the long stroll, view every variety in our Display Garden at the beginning of the path to the main fields. Lots of free parking and picnic tables for those who wish to enjoy an afternoon among the blooms.

Flower Farmer, Phoenix & Holly Railroad

The Flower Farmer has a wide range of activities for adults and children. There is a miniature railroad, the Phoenix & Holly, for a leisurely tour through fields of fresh flowers and pumpkins for the fall. There are stops all along the way to visit the farm animals.

Simnitt Nursery has been growing quality nursery plants for the wholesale trade for over 30 years. Ideal location and soils have allowed them to grow, along with their plants, to over 65 acres providing both container and field grown ornamentals for landscapers, re-wholesalers and retailers.
The nursery grows over 175 varieties of Rhododendrons and Pieris, ensuring the right plant for the customer needing specific hardiness, size and color. Some specialties, are some of the unusual and hard to find plants, such as Daphne which they have been growing since their beginning. Varieties such as Carol Mackie, Cneorum (Rock Daphne), Odora, and the Summer bloomers -Eternal Fragrance, Summer Ice and Jim’s Pride are all beautiful to see in bloom and give the nursery a unique product mix.

“At TMK Creamery, caring for dairy cattle is a full time job! We love our cow-lebrities, and are up to feed at sunrise and even ready to help a cow give birth at midnight, when needed. We provide “round the clock” care for our cows. Our visitors learn about modern agriculture, including the milking process, where cows are housed, feeding, milk storage and nutrition. Your tour guide is a farm employee who will be happy to answer your questions. We also have seasonal activities, cheese making on site and a dairy shop and store coming soon! It is easy to go to the store and grab a gallon of milk, but many of us don’t know the farmers, the people, and the families behind the nutritious dairy products we enjoy. Now you have the chance to connect you with your local dairy farmer and catch a glimpse into what life is like on dairy farm. Know your farmer, know your food. We believe that food tastes better when we know where it’s from!
Our love for dairy cows has been historically rooted in our family since the time our ancestors came to the United States and established several dairy farms here in the Northwest. TMK Farm began a registered dairy program around 1987 when Todd Koch bought his first Holstein heifer. By 1997 our milking cow herd grew to the point of establishing our own dairy facility and, through a tremendous family effort, we built a dairy in Canby, Oregon. Over the years TMK Farm has established an aggressive breeding program to institute excellent dairy genetics.
Todd and his youngest brother Marc have conscientiously bred for reliable and extreme dairy cows that are comfortable both in the show ring and on the farm. Our family has enjoyed showing Holstein and Jersey cattle through the years and is devoted to promoting the dairy industry by participating in several local, state, and national events.
TMK Farm is a small, family farm that has enjoyed the privilege of dairying and continues diligently breeding for exceptional dairy genetics. The “dairy cow” has provided us the opportunity to cultivate some great friendships and exciting dairy genetics.It all starts on the farm.”
