Library of Things
Did you know you can check out a telescope, horseshoe game, or an automotive diagnostic scanner from the library? These and other items are part of the Library of Things (LoT), funded by a grant from the Clackamas County Office of Sustainability.
Who can borrow LoT items?
If you have a regular library card and are 18 years or older, you can borrow LoT items from Canby Public Library.
What's in the collection?
You can view our LoT collection here or pick up a brochure in the library. Other LINCC libraries have their own LoT collections, too, but you'll have to pick up and return the items to the owning library each time. Check here to see their collections.
How much does it cost?
Borrowing something from the LoT collection is free! But if the item is returned past the due date, overdue fines are $1 per day, up to the total replacement cost. We appreciate your help getting these items back on time, so everyone can have a turn.
