Monetary Donations

The Canby Public Library, Canby Public Library Foundation and Friends of the Canby Public Library accept monetary and material gifts (*tax deductible as allowed by law.) 

The Canby Public Library, Friends of the Canby Public Library, and Canby Public Library Foundation reserve the right to accept or refuse materials or funds and any conditions placed upon gifts, materials or funds and to evaluate and dispose of donated items in accordance with the criteria applied to purchased materials. Canby Public Library cannot guarantee that unsolicited materials will be returned to donors. Additionally, Canby Public Library cannot guarantee that donated items will be added to the collection. 

The Friends of the Canby Public Library is an independent 501(c)(3) organization that directly supports cultural and educational programs, and promotes the growth and improvement of the quality of service at the Canby Public Library. For additional, contact the Friends of the Canby Public Library. 

The Canby Public Library Foundation is an independent organization dedicated to developing financial resources in support of the Canby Public Library. Financial support from the Foundation provides funds for special projects and programs to enhance library services. 

Book, DVD, CD, and Magazine Donations

During regular library hours, donations of books and other materials can be made directly to the Library or the Friends of the Canby Public Library. 

Accepted Materials:

Hardback and paperback books in good condition and not older than five years

DVDs, cds, and audiobooks in good condition

Magazines less than three months old
