The City of Canby is accepting applications to fill the remaining term of an anticipated vacant position (effective December 23, 2022) on the Canby City Council.  Per Canby Charter Chapter VII, candidates will be interviewed and the person selected will be appointed to serve until December 31, 2024.  Qualified applicants must have been a resident of the City of Canby for the twelve months immediately preceding the appointment and be a current registered Oregon voter. 

Applications are available online or can be picked up at City of Canby Administration Office, 222 NE 2nd Avenue between 9 AM - 4 PM Monday through Friday.  For further information, contact the City Recorder at 503-592-6922.

  • Deadline for applications is December 16, 2022 at 4:00 pm.
  • Applications will be forwarded to the Mayor and Councilors as they are submitted.
  • Interviews will be held the evening of December 21, 2022 at 6:00 pm.
