99E and Ivy Street Construction
Up to the minute changes and delays to bus routes and stops are always available on CAT's Facebook page, Passeo Go app (download app here) OR call the CAT Office 503-266-4024 Monday-Saturday, 8am-5pm.
The project is reconstructing the right-hand lanes in sections, one direction at a time. Work beginning week of August 19th:
- Paving the northbound lanes from Elm Street to Ivy Street.
- Paving the northbound lanes through the Pine Street intersection.
Paving these two sections is anticipated to be complete in three to four weeks.
Side street closures and no access available to or from Pine and Grant streets. Elm Street open/directed by flaggers during the day and closed overnight.

Clackamas County's South Ivy Street Bike Lanes and Sidewalks Project
South Ivy Street connects downtown Canby to schools, parks, and surrounding residential neighborhoods. As an important connection, it is crucial that this road serve vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians. Construction starts in late May and continues through Dec. 2025. Plans include:
- Widening Ivy Street to three lanes
- Adding bicycle lanes and sidewalks between 1st Ave and Philander Lee Elementary School
- Adding street lighting and installing a traffic signal at Township Road intersection

SCHEDULE:
- Utility Relocation: July 23 – Spring 2024
- Design: Sept. 2019 – Jan. 2024
- Right of way: Nov. 2020 – May 2024
- Construction: June 2024 – Dec. 2025
Expect flagging and lane closures for vehicles and bicycles daily. Local access to driveways will be maintained and pedestrian access provided. See project map photo below for details.
