Misdemeanors

If you have been cited to appear at the Canby Municipal Court on a misdemeanor charge, you are required to personally appear on your court date and time. Failure to appear will result in a warrant for your arrest. 

On your first appearance with the Canby Municipal Court, you will be given the opportunity to request a public defender. If you qualify, an attorney will be appointed to represent you and you will be scheduled to return on a later date with your attorney.
