Park Maintenance Fee Increase
*** City of Canby Sewer Rate Increase effective July 1st 2024 ***
The monthly Park Maintenance fee will increase to $6.31 for residential, multi-family, commercial & industrial customers. For residential reduced rate customers the Park Maintenance fee will increase to $3.16 per month. You will see the increased amount on your August bills for July service.
On October 18th, 2023 Resolution 1397 was passed by City Council changing the Sewer, Street & Park Maintenance bill due date from the 15th of every month to the 20th of every month. This will allow customers more time to make their payment.

The Finance Department's Utility Billing Section provides billing and collections administration for the City of Canby Sewer, Street Maintenance, and Parks Maintenance fees.
The Utility Billing Specialist handles the billing, payment services, and maintenance of nearly 4,500 customer accounts. The monthly billing statements are mailed on the last business day of the month and are due by the 15th of the following month.

Sewer & Stormwater
Sewer Service is provided to residential customers for a flat rate and to other customers on a rate that includes usage.
Street Maintenance Fee
Under the authority of Ordinance 1262, a monthly street maintenance fee is assessed on all developed properties in order to fund on-going maintenance of streets throughout Canby.
Park Maintenance Fee
Under the authority of Ordinance 1466, a monthly park maintenance fee is assessed on all developed properties in order to fund additional maintenance at the City’s existing parks and will go towards maintenance of any new parks the City builds or acquires.
