Walnut Street Extension
The City of Canby continues to work on a transportation project critical to circulation and mobility in the City: the Walnut Street Extension Project. This new street facility will extend from the heart of the Canby Pioneer Industrial Park along SE 1st Avenue, north to a new traffic signal on Highway 99E, creating a direct path for trucks and other vehicle trips generated by the industrial park. The project will alleviate congestion at other intersections along Highway 99E and will direct truck circulation away from neighborhoods and problematic intersections outside the City.
