Bus Route Closed

Route 99X Service Changes: 

Due to a driver shortage we unfortunately have to close a 99X Route on Monday, April 14th, 2025. The following route times are canceled: 

Canby to Oregon City: 

  • 3:45pm
  • 5:39pm
  • 7:53pm
  • 8:37pm

Oregon City to Canby:

  • 4:07pm
  • 6:03pm
  • 8:16pm
  • 9:00pm

Canby to Woodburn:

  • 4:29pm
  • 6:26pm

Woodburn to Canby: 

  • 5:12pm
  • 6:54pm

99X Bus Shelter Construction Updates

Construction is underway for the final four (4) bus shelters as part of the 99E Construction Project!

The City of Canby Public Works team is currently installing new shelter pads at the following locations:

  • Sequoia Parkway
  • North Redwood Street
  • Territorial Road (Northbound and Southbound)

Will Bus Stops Be Affected?
We do not plan to close any bus stops during construction. However, some stops will be temporarily relocated for your safety. Please stay clear of active work zones and follow posted signs.

Temporary Bus Stop Locations:

  • Sequoia Parkway: Temporarily relocated west of the original stop, near Carl’s Jr and the intersection.
  • Territorial Road (Southbound): Beginning April 15, 2025, the stop will move to the corner of Highway 99E and SE Territorial Road.

South Ivy Street Construction Update:

We are entering the next phase of the South Ivy Street Improvement project, which will begin on Monday, April 7th, 2025. With the traffic control plans now in place, the major construction work, including sidewalk and paving activities, will commence.

The first work section will span from Highway 99E to SW 8th Ave. Below are the key traffic control details for this phase:

  • The SW 8th Ave bus stop for the Canby Loop will be closed. 
  • South Ivy Street will be reduced to a two-lane road, with traffic moving only on the east side of the roadway.
  • Traffic will be one-way into the neighborhoods only during construction.
  • Township Avenue will remain open for left turns onto South Ivy Street.

Please expect possible delays on the Canby Loop service due to the construction.
