CITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS

The next scheduled Council, General Election, will be held on November 3, 2026.    

November 3, 2026 GENERAL ELECTION CALENDAR FOR CITY CANDIDATES

TBD  Any person running for a position on the City Council must have been a Canby City resident by this date.

June TBD  First day to file nomination papers and petitions.

August TBD  Suggested deadline to submit signatures for verification to the city elections officer.

August TBD  Last day to file nomination papers and petitions.

August TBD  Last day for candidates to withdraw.

September TBD  Last day for candidates to file voter pamphlet statement.

November 3 Election Day.

January 6, 2027  The Oath of Office administered to elected candidates.

City elections are governed by the laws and regulations of the City of Canby, Clackamas County and the State of Oregon.
