CITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS

The next scheduled Council, General Election, will be held on November 3, 2026.    

November 3, 2026 GENERAL ELECTION CALENDAR FOR CITY CANDIDATES

November 3, 2025  Any person running for a position on the City Council must have been a Canby City resident by this date.

June 3  First day to file nomination papers and petitions.

August 11  Strongly recommended deadline for Elected Incumbent Candidates.

August 18  Final filing deadline for Elected Incumbent Candidates.

August 18  Strongly recommended deadline for New Incumbent Candidates to submit signatures for verification to the city elections officer.

August 25  Last day to file for New Incumbent Candidates nomination papers and petitions.

August 25  Last day for candidates to file voter pamphlet statement.

August 28  Last day for candidates to withdraw.

November 3 Election Day.

January 6, 2027  The Oath of Office administered to elected candidates.

City elections are governed by the laws and regulations of the City of Canby, Clackamas County and the State of Oregon.
