Facade Improvement Program

The City of Canby offers the Facade Improvement Program to business and property owners located within the Urban Renewal District. 

The Canby Facade Improvement Program has two grant opportunities - the Design Services Grant and the Facade Construction Grant. The Facade Improvement Program awards up to:

  • $1,500 for Design Services
  • $1,500 for Construction Renderings
  • $25,000 matching funds for Facade Construction Grant

The Design Services Grant aids in the achievement of facade design work - including design services and construction renderings. The Urban Renewal Agency will pay the cost of design services and construction renderings up to $1,500 for each  The Facade Grant is 50/50 matching grant; the grant recipient is required to match the grant award amount dollar for dollar. Funds are limited to one facade grant per property per year and awarded on a first come, first served basis for each fiscal year. Approval of grant application is contingent upon available Urban Renewal funds. All construction work must be completed within 24 months of Agency approval.
