Downtown Parade
This year’s parade will begin at 10am and will wind through the downtown blocks. The parade is open to all entries. There will be cars, tractors, fire, police, youth groups, dancing troops and more! Please check our Parade page for detailed route map and registration information.
Street Fair
Our street fair will feature many wonderful local vendors featuring some of the best handcrafted items and incredible food and drink choices. The street fair is centered around Wait Park and will remain open most of the day. There will be a kids zone, game truck and live music.
Kids Zone
Canby Independence Day Celebration is kid friendly! Our Kids Zone is all about kids, packed full of arts and crafts for kids to do, an arcade truck for them to explore their inner gamer and a bounce house for this kids who have enjoyed a little too much cotton candy!
Entertainment
The day’s celebration would not be complete without some live entertainment including musicians and bands and more. Also, be sure to check out the family-friendly Beer Garden featuring local wines and brews, located on NW 2nd Avenue between N Holly and N Ivy Streets.
Car Show
The car show is always a popular attraction to the Independence Day Celebration. Hundreds of classic and vintage vehicles will line the streets and give spectators an intimate view of amazing machines from era’s gone by. Take selfies in front of your favorite or just enjoy the vehicles.
Canby Fire Obstacle Course
Canby Fire District Obstacle Course returns for another year. Beat the heat with the children’s course where they can spray fire hoses and learn the ropes of firefighting. Located conveniently on N Grant Street between 2nd & 3rd Avenues.
