Parade Information

Time

The parade will begin promptly at 10 am and will finish around 11 am. The parade will wind through the downtown area and the beginning of the parade should reach it’s midway point around 10:30 am. If you are viewing toward the end of the parade route, you should expect to see the parade procession after 10:30 am.

Viewing Parade

This is a family-friendly parade and there are many great areas for viewing the parade along the parade route. It is best to arrive early and place blankets or chairs in the area you would like to sit. Candy is passed out by many of the parade participants but there is a no candy zone between 3rd and 4th on Holly street, choose your viewing area accordingly!

Floats

Keeping tradition with many small-town community parades, spectators can expect to see a wide variety of parade floats. Many community groups such as music groups, dance troops, boy scouts, and sports teams participate year after year.  Additionally, there will be some local businesses and political dignitaries as well.

Participating

The downtown parade is your parade! If you are a non-profit organization or local community group there is no charge to register a float for the parade. If you are a business or campaigning political organization and would like to enter a float in the parade, registration is just $25. Click the parade registration button at the bottom of the page to get registered today. All participants must pre-register before June 26th at 5 pm.
